Verification before approval
Every fundraiser on Caredaan goes through a 4-stage review before it is approved.
- Story review — We check whether the fundraiser story is clear, complete and relevant.
- Genuineness check — We review identity, cause and supporting proof.
- Finance review — We check the requested amount, bank details and fund-use explanation.
- Admin approval — The fundraiser is approved only after final internal review.
Proofs we may ask for
Depending on the category, we may request:
- Live photo of the organiser or beneficiary
- ID proof where required
- Beneficiary bank account number and IFSC
- Hospital letter, estimate or medical documents
- School, college or fee-related proof
- NGO trust documents, registration proof or programme details
- Animal rescue, shelter or veterinary proof
- Emergency-related documents or local confirmation
Direct-to-beneficiary disbursement
Wherever applicable, funds are disbursed directly to the beneficiary's bank account. This helps reduce misuse and gives donors more confidence that support is reaching the intended person or cause.
Proof storage
Signed proofs, documents and verification records may be stored securely for review, compliance, dispute handling and internal safety checks.
Report a fundraiser
If you see a fundraiser that looks incorrect, misleading or suspicious, please report it to us at caredaan@ykgroup.co.in. We review reports seriously and may ask the organiser for more proof, pause the fundraiser or take further action.
