Donating is free
Donors do not pay any separate fee to Caredaan for making a donation. The minimum online donation is ₹5.
Caredaan deducts a small percentage from payouts to cover platform upkeep, team and other costs. Payment settlement charges are deducted by our settlement partner. The final amount disbursed to the beneficiary is the donation minus applicable Caredaan and settlement deductions.
We are happy to share the detailed settlement breakdown with any organiser on request.
What may be deducted
A payout may include:
- Caredaan upkeep deduction
- Payment gateway or settlement charges charged by the settlement partner
- Any other direct settlement-related deduction, where applicable
We do not hide these deductions. If you are organising a fundraiser, you can ask us for the complete payout calculation.
How payouts work
Payouts are processed manually after a fundraiser organiser raises a payout request from their dashboard. At that stage, our team calculates the exact disbursal amount along with a breakup of deductions, and shares it with the organiser before transferring funds.
This keeps every payout transparent — the organiser always sees what was collected, what was deducted and what was disbursed.
